What is DICE?


Ditmas Indie Comics Extravangaza (DICE) is Ditmas Park, Brooklyn’s premier* comic festival dedicated to creating low barrier-to-entry opportunities for small, local comic artists. Now in its second year, DICE has now expanded from Taylor & Co Books to include a second location at Brooklyn Artery! DICE is a free-to-attend event for comic artists, fans, and skeptics of all ages and identities!

Jamie A. Mosquera (he/him)


Jaime A. Mosquera (he/him) is a trans, butch, Colombian cartoonist who loves to dive into the gothic, phantasmagoria, and speculative fiction. He uses his enjoyment of painting, photography, and collage to create multimedia comics that combine all these elements with traditional inks to make immersive horror. He currently makes his comics from his apartment in New Jersey where he lives with his partner and dog.

Katy Freeman (she/her)


Katy Freeman is an illustrator and designer based in Brooklyn, New York. She enjoys using traditional materials, such as pencils and watercolor, and is drawn to stories with elements of nature, fantasy, and humor. Outside of work, she's usually playing board games, walking in parks, or reading comics.

Kayla Gilliam (she/her)


Kayla Konnichibot is an independent cartoonist and freelance illustrator. Her previous works include illustrating Faith L Justice's, TOKOYO: The Samurai's Daughter and contributing to the Ringo and Eisner nominated anthology, SENSORY: Life on the Spectrum.

Liam Donnelly (he/him)


Liam Donnelly is a cranky queer cartoonist based in Queens. He creates slice-of-life comics about queers in the throes of love and lust. In addition to his mini comics like Thanks for Asking and I Love You, Tiffany Chung, his work has also been published in Lilies, DRØME, and Vagabond Comics.

Jennesis Pham (he>they)


Jennesis Pham (he > they) is a Viet American queer transmasc autistic artist, activist, advocate, aries, and absolute romantic. He specializes in charcoal figurative drawings and comic writing. He loves the sound of his partner's singing voice, banana pudding, and working in the late night when the city feels a little softer.

Christina Lee (she/her)


Christina Lee is a Korean-American illustrator and designer based in Brooklyn, NY by way of San Jose, CA and Pittsburgh, PA. She holds a BFA in Fine Art from Carnegie Mellon University and MFA in Illustration from FIT. Her work has been featured by Hyperallergic, i-D Magazine, The Fader, Public Books, The Comics Journal, and Solrad, and recognized by the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration. Energetic mark making, concise compositions, and colorful subjects define her prints, zines, animations, and comics.
